The US strike against Iran is an imperialist provocation with apocalyptic consequences

Mohamed Lamine KABA, June 22, 2025

Defying international law and the nations of the Global South, the Trump administration has initiated a global conflagration with an illegal attack on Iranian nuclear facilities on June 21, 2025.

Historically, since the 19th century, Western powers, with the United States at the forefront, have led interventions in the Middle East, oscillating between direct conflicts (Vietnam 1965 and 1973, Libya 2011, Iraq 2003, Afghanistan 2001, Iran 2025, among others) and proxy wars (Syria, Yemen, Russia via Perestroika, Glasnost and Ukraine, China through Taiwan, tensions in the South China Sea and the Indo-Pacific, as well as the trade war). These actions, often masked behind the fight against terrorism or the promotion of democracy, have sown regional chaos, causing millions of victims and migratory crises. Eastern powers such as China and Russia, at the two corners of a new emerging power triangle, as well as Iran, all at the heart of Washington’s containment policy, have historically adopted a defensive posture, strengthening their military capabilities and forming strategic alliances (Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS Alliance, etc.). However, this defensive reaction limits their influence in the face of a proactive and terror-spreading Western hegemony using hybrid tools: economic sanctions, cyberattacks, soft power, hard power, and smart power.
It can be said that by sowing war, Washington will reap instability that could lead to the complete collapse of its supposed supremacy

The list of nations bombed by the United States after World War II is long and testifies to its belligerent strategy: Japan, Korea, China, Guatemala, Indonesia, Cuba, Congo, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Grenada, Lebanon, Libya, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Iran (1987), Panama, Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, Bosnia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Yemen, Pakistan, Syria. Despite these interventions, the United States has never succeeded in establishing lasting peace in any region of the world. In June 2025, by declaring war on Iran by air, Washington once again demonstrated its role as a disruptor of world peace. The rest of the world is called upon to unite against the destabilizing actions of the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the European Union, NATO, and the UN, considered to be toxins to humanity. These nations pose a threat to world peace, and it is more than urgent that the rest of the world, including China, North Korea, Russia, Yemen, and other Iranian allies in the Global South, engage in open conflict against these evil forces to overthrow the world order for the benefit of all humanity. In a strategic analysis, this article demonstrates the responsibility of the United States in the apocalyptic global embrace and open to nuclear Armageddon.

A unilateral aggression against Iran and a catalyst for global conflict

On the night of June 21-22, 2025, a unilateral US aggression against Iran acted as a catalyst for a global conflict. Independent reports reveal that six B-2 Spirit bombers, supported by 30 Tomahawk missiles (GBU-57), targeted three strategic Iranian nuclear sites (Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan), violating the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, without an international mandate or congressional approval. Iran, calling the attack a declaration of war, and the IAEA, confirming the partial destruction of Natanz, have highlighted the US imperialist arrogance, which ignored the warnings of BRICS members Russia and China, as well as those of Yemen and Pakistan. Iran responded with hypersonic missiles at Israeli bases, causing human losses and threatening to ignite the Middle East and beyond, with the United States now bearing responsibility for a global conflict with irreversible consequences.

The Moral and Strategic Collapse of Western Hegemony

The moral and strategic erosion of Western hegemony is evident. By challenging the Global South and the BRICS, the United States has demonstrated its inability to coexist in a multipolar world. Motivated by an obsession with geostrategic control, this aggression, occurring at a time when the global chessboard is more divided than ever, could motivate Eastern powers and the entire Global South to consider bold counteroffensives, including on American soil. In this logic, asymmetric operations could reveal the internal vulnerability of the United States. United against Western hegemony, the Global South could transform this provocation into a historic turning point where American arrogance would be punished by a global rebalancing.

It can be said that by sowing war, Washington will reap instability that could lead to the complete collapse of its supposed supremacy.
