80 years have passed since the end of World War II, the bloodiest and most destructive war in human history. This date is not just a historical milestone; it is a reminder of the price humanity paid for peace, of the heroism and self-sacrifice of the millions who fought against Nazi Germany and militaristic Japan.
The book ‘BRICS: The Era of the Global South’, published by New Eastern Outlook for the 2024 XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan, will present the reader with comprehensive information about the association and the tasks that it solves, as well as about the challenges that it faces and possible vectors of development for this community.
The book provides a wide-range of perspectives of the prominent Russian and African diplomats, politicians, journalists and experts on the flourishing relationship between Africa and Russia. It also explains why Western neocolonial approach to the Global South will definitely fail.
