According to the Missile Defense Project of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the S-400 Triumf (NATO name SA-21 Growler) Missile System was developed during the late 1990s and was first deployed in Moscow in August 2007.

As the proxy war splits Russia-NATO (East/West) relations in the Ukraine theater, all the premises indicate that Ukraine will eventually embrace its destiny: a future inextricably linked to Russia. The history of international relations weighs heavily and Ukraine is destined to have a future closely linked to Russia, whether politically, economically, culturally or militarily.

In the contemporary International Relations, the automobile manufacturing is one of the most important yet profit-making business, providing numerous jobs, and a pivotal aspect of enhancing research and development. However, with the growing geopolitical tensions, enhanced protectionism, and the revival of nationalism; the value of automobile manufacturing has become a matter of national pride and national identity. It is understandable that states take great pride in their national and indigenous carmakers, and consider them to be a part of their national identity, power, and prestige.

Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine started in February 2022, when the Ukrainians suspended all communication channels with their Russian counterparts. Before that, Ukraine made blatant violations of all the mutual understandings between Russia and the West, including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). It is to be remembered here that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the West and the Russian Federation mutually agreed that the NATO will not expand its borders. The then U.S. Secretary of State James Baker made it clear to the Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO has no desire of expansion, and it will move “not one inch eastward.”

In the lead up to the Ukrainian military’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk region, even Western headlines were dominated by reports of Ukraine’s gradual demise. Ukraine is admittedly suffering arms and ammunition shortages, as well as facing an unsolvable manpower crisis. Russia has been destroying Ukrainian military power faster than Ukraine and its Western sponsors can reconstitute it.

At present, international relations are in the process of restructuring: the weight and influence of the Western powers led by the United States is really falling and the positions of those who are usually referred to as the countries of the Global South are strengthening. It is quite remarkable that, despite the obviousness of these phenomena, they are gradually beginning to be accepted by states that had previously resisted recognizing these processes.

It is time for Russia to fully mobilize against the nagging threat posed by the NATO-backed Ukrainian state. President Putin’s pragmatic approach to keeping NATO off Russia’s borders will undoubtedly be shifted given the recent Ukraine Army incursions at Kursk. Many of us suspected it would come to this. Russia must crush the Kyiv-NATO experiment down the tubes.

Russia and its peoples are blessed by providence; the huge landscape and the rich abundance of all kinds of natural resources are now and have always been a source of Russia’s power and prestige. History reveals that the sizeable landscape not only provides resources, but is also a great source of Russia’s natural defence against aggressors. However, besides these natural blessings, Russia’s belligerent neighbours have always tried to contain Russia’s ascent towards progress and prosperity.

The second half of July was marked by an important visit by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Laos and Malaysia. Here Russia-ASEAN ministerial talks took place, as well as meetings of the foreign ministers of East Asian Summit members (EAS, the annual format of the ASEAN dialogue with external partners), the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF, a less formal platform for discussing the most pressing problems in the Asia-Pacific region) and a number of bilateral meetings.

The visits of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the North Korea and Vietnam from June 18 to 20 were a remarkable development not only in relations between the countries, but also in terms of their assessments of how the political situation in East Asian as a whole is developing. As a result of the talks between Vladimir Putin and the North Korean and Vietnamese leaders, an extensive list of measures was drawn up and enshrined in bilateral documents…

In the last week of June 2024, Ukraine carried out what appeared to be another unsuccessful ATACMS strike on Crimea. Of the several missiles launched, all but one were intercepted. The last missile was initially reported to have been defected where it detonated over a beach, killing several civilians, including children, and injuring many more.

Characterized by Vladimir Putin’s official visits to various countries of the multipolar world, the year 2024 seems decisive in the expansion of the sphere of influence of the BRICS Alliance. While multipolarism is skyrocketing, the end of unbridled unipolarism is confirmed on the global political scene.
