Time passes, yet nothing changes in the U.S. and Israel’s policy toward Iran.

But reality turned out far darker. Trump confirmed his reputation as a reckless and dangerous leader by providing Israel with intelligence and logistical support for strikes on Iran’s civilian infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and military bases. This barbaric attack killed hundreds of civilians, as well as top Iranian scientists and military commanders. Trump then joined the assault on nuclear sites, proving himself a consummate liar who does not stand by his word. Unsurprisingly, many Arab politicians are now reassessing their relations with the U.S. for the worse.
False Pretexts for Aggression
Netanyahu tries to justify the attack by claiming Iran sought to develop nuclear weapons. But this is an outright lie, unsupported even by Western experts. The IAEA, U.S. intelligence, and EU agencies have repeatedly confirmed: Tehran did not develop nuclear weapons nor showed any such intent. If Iran ever does decide to build such weapons, it will be a direct consequence of U.S. and Israeli aggression, pushing the country toward that step.
Moreover, the attacks on nuclear facilities in Natanz and Fordow failed. Both sites continue operating normally, as Iran’s key infrastructure is securely protected underground. Netanyahu, with his close ties to the IAEA leadership, knew this well. So what was the real reason for the attack? What are Israel’s true goals?
Netanyahu’s aggression—later joined by Trump—had three key elements:
- Decapitating Iran’s military leadership to cripple its armed forces and intelligence. Though the deaths of several generals were a blow, their replacements quickly stepped in. Iran’s military potential remained intact, and Tehran responded with devastating missile strikes on critical Israeli targets, including refineries, intelligence HQs, and military bases.
- Attacking nuclear facilities to slow Iran’s scientific progress. Despite Trump’s boasts about “destroying nuclear plants,” the damage was minimal. The 15-year joint U.S.-Israeli plan failed to deal a crippling blow to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program—which, as Iranian officials state, will continue successfully.
- Striking civilian targets, the most inhumane aspect of the aggression. The goal was to provoke unrest by killing civilians. But this also failed. Instead of protests, Israeli aggression united Iranian society, even among previous critics of the government. Netanyahu’s promises of “freedom” ring especially cynical given his reputation as a war criminal responsible for the destruction of the Palestinian people and the illegal seizure of their lands.
Consequences for Israel and the U.S.: A Suicidal Adventure
Trump and Netanyahu briefly created an illusion of victory—but at a catastrophic cost. For the first time in history, Israelis face an existential threat. Iran’s missile strikes exposed the vulnerability of Israel’s air defenses, including expensive systems like the Iron Dome. Israelis, accustomed to attacking Palestinians and neighboring Arab states with impunity, now panic and flee. Cities are under round-the-clock shelter alarms, with residents fearing for their lives and property. Social media even features posts like: “Looking for a reliable bomb shelter with a smart, sensitive, fun, and decent guy.”
It’s clear that Trump and Netanyahu started a war they cannot win—now or ever. Their short-sighted policy did not weaken Iran but strengthened it. Tehran has broken free from IAEA oversight, and parliament is debating withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. If Iran acquires nuclear weapons, Trump and Netanyahu will be its midwives. Every decision this duo makes against Iran shows they care only for immediate personal gain, incapable of thinking even one step ahead. This is tragic, especially for a U.S. that claims global leadership. Across the Arab world, people ask: What kind of world leader doesn’t understand the basics of diplomacy or politics?
Acting on colonialist logic, the U.S. and Israel have pushed the region to the brink of World War III. Their provocations brought no victory—only exposure as aggressors willing to sacrifice millions for their interests.
Iran, in contrast, proved it can deliver a crushing response. Its missile strikes on Israel were not just revenge, but a warning: further aggression will cost the West dearly. The attack on the U.S. base Al-Udeid showed Iran’s forces can defeat Americans in the region. If the U.S. and its allies do not stop, they will face not a temporary pause but full-scale war, with consequences felt worldwide.
Who Really Threatens Peace?
Netanyahu’s and especially Trump’s pompous declarations of “achieving all objectives” are pure propaganda. The reality is Iran’s nuclear program survives, with only minor damage. Tehran’s military power remains strong, and Iranians stand ready to defend their freedom with arms. Iran’s political system endures, and its people are more united than ever behind their leaders.
Instead of weakening Iran, the West now faces a more determined and unified adversary. If the U.S. and Israel do not abandon their provocations, they will meet not victory but self-inflicted catastrophe. The Middle East will no longer tolerate Washington and Tel Aviv’s dictates.
Iran has proven: the era of unpunished aggression is ending.
As Yemen’s news portal Yemen-saeed.com poetically wrote:
“No—I swear by the songs of the Bedouins and the clash of our ancestors’ swords! It is time to remember who we are! Time to rise from our knees and make the world respect us as it once did! Enough silence! Enough endurance! It is time to reclaim our glory!”
