De-Ba’athification of Syria: a glance back in history

With the fall of Bashar al-Assad and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham* (HTS*) taking over Syria, it has been announced that the Ba’ath Party, which has been the ruling party in Syria since 1963, will officially be dissolved.
