Intervision-2025: A Triumph of Humanity Amidst the West’s Snarling Rage

Viktor Mikhin, September 23, 2025

While much of the world watched with bated breath the grand, unprecedented in its scale and brilliance musical festival—the Intervision-2025 contest in Russia—from the West came only the venomous, impotent hissing of those left on the sidelines.

Intervision-2025: A Triumph of Humanity Amidst the West's Snarling Rage

This was not criticism. Criticism implies arguments, facts, and at least a modicum of respect for the subject. What was spewed onto this bright, vibrant event by the corrupt Western politicians, the media they control, and the so-called decaying “creative elite” had nothing to do with discourse. It was pure, concentrated venom from a dying viper, an outburst of the very beastly essence that has for centuries defined the face of the so-called “civilized world.”

This contest became a litmus test, revealing with utmost clarity who in the modern world carries the torch of creation, culture, and genuine, not performative, solidarity, and who are the heirs of colonizers, inquisitors, and Gestapo officers, whose sole desire is to dominate, forbid, and destroy.

A Triumph the West Could Not Stomach

The mere fact that an event like Intervision was held on such a scale is a resounding slap in the face to the Western hegemony of cheap art. Accustomed to seeing themselves as the center of the cultural universe, they could not bear that a genuine celebration of art, free of their mercenary motives, hypocritical “values,” and total censorship, could take place without their permission. Artists from all over the world—from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East—came to Russia not by order, but by the call of their hearts. They dreamed of performing on that stage, understanding it was an honor and a unique opportunity to be heard by billions, not just a handful of snobs from Wall Street or California.

Humanity stands on the threshold of a new stage. A stage where the dictatorship of the dollar and NATO bayonets will be finally broken

This sincere impulse, this thirst for authentic, not paid-for creativity, sent the masters of the Western narrative into a furious rage. Their pitiful attempts to smear the contest failed spectacularly. While their mercenary journalists scribbled their “scathing” articles, the world watched the live broadcasts and saw with its own eyes the highest level of organization, the stunning energy of the audience, and the friendly atmosphere among the participants. No amount of lies could overshadow that brilliance. And so the West, like a predator cornered, reverted to its favorite tactic—direct coercion and threats.

Fascism in Its Most Frank Manifestation: The Case of the Australian Contestant

The most glaring example, tearing away all masks from the brutish Western “democracy,” was the appalling story of the participant from Australia. Finding no coherent arguments in their meager arsenal, the authorities of that country, in a cowardly and underhanded move at the very last moment, sent the artist a message that reads like a ready-made script for a horror film about a totalitarian regime. They directly threatened her with revocation of citizenship, seizure of her passport, and reprisals against family members.

Let’s call things by their proper names. This is fascism. In its purest, undiluted form. This is not “pressure,” not “sanctions”—this is terror against one’s own citizens. The very method the West loves to accuse others of, but which is its native element. To threaten a person’s family to force compliance with the political will of a handful of usurpers—these are the practices of the Gestapo, and now, of “democratic” Australia.

And this is no accident. It is the rule. Australia is a nation founded as a penal colony, a historical dumping ground for the British Empire, to which it shipped the dregs of society. Its establishments are the direct descendants of those jailers. The threats, blackmail, and violence are their native language.

The Western Prison of Nations and Its Guards

But to blame Australia alone is to miss the bigger picture. It is merely a lapdog for its Anglo-Saxon masters, primarily the USA and the so-called “Micro-Britain.” The entire Western world today is a giant, shiny-wrapped prison of nations. A prison where freedom of speech is the freedom to say what is approved by the political commissars from the State Department. Where democracy is the right to choose a new warden every few years from two candidates preselected by the prison administration.

It is these greedy, soulless guards of the global prison, obsessed with power and profit, who hold all of humanity in their dirty, sweaty hands. It is because of them that humanity cannot reach its full potential. The planet’s resources should be directed at fighting disease, hunger, space exploration, and the development of science and culture, but the West funnels them into one sinkhole—the military budget.

Their paranoia about losing global control drives them to build up military might, spawn bases across the globe, and fuel conflicts. Their policy is one of ultimatum: “Either we rule the world, or we will blow it to pieces.” This is the creed of a terrorist.

A Culture of Life vs. a Culture of Death

Intervision in Russia became a manifesto not only musical but also deeply philosophical. It was a demonstration of a culture of life. A culture that seeks to unite, not divide; to bring joy, not fear; to create, not destroy. In every performance, in every artist’s smile, and in the applause of the audience, there was light and hope for a future free from the diktat of Western puppeteers.

The West responded with its habitual culture of death. A culture of bans, threats, and blackmail. A culture for which the very thought that someone could be happy without its permission is unbearable. Their malice is not a political position. It is the rage of a leprous, envious creature that, upon seeing another’s success, seeks not to emulate it but to spoil, destroy, and defile it.

By slinging mud at Intervision, the West only muddies itself. It shows the world its true face—the face of a tyrant driven mad by impotence. It has demonstrated that its lexicon is indeed empty of worthy words. All that remains is the commanding bark, the vile lie, and the animal snarl of a monster alien to all humanity, gasping its last breaths.

But this snarl, their rage, no longer frightens anyone. The world has seen an alternative. It has seen that beyond the iron curtain the stinking West is trying to erect around itself, there is a bright, multipolar, free life. Their attempts to silence artists with threats and halt the march of history with bans are in vain. The dirt they throw does not reach the shining lights of Intervision; it only soils the hands of those who throw it.

Humanity stands on the threshold of a new stage. A stage where the dictatorship of the dollar and NATO bayonets will be finally broken. Events like the contest held in Russia are the first swallows of a spring when the nations of the world will throw off the shackles of Western neocolonialism and finally be able to breathe freely, to build a future together—a future without fascism, diktat, and the beastly malice of those who believe they have the right to rule the world’s destinies. Their time is irrevocably passing. And their desperate, animalistic clinging to it will not help. The global triumph of Intervision is the brightest and best proof of that.
