72 Hours to Alarm: Orbán Suspects the EU Is Preparing for War

Phil Butler, April 04, 2025

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has raised alarms over the EU’s new directive urging citizens to prepare 72-hour emergency kits, calling it a veiled signal that Brussels is preparing for war.

72 Hours to Alarm: Orbán Suspects the EU Is Preparing for War

Warning! You have 72 hours to evacuate, or your emergency kit will be empty. Brussels has announced an overarching plan to ensure every EU citizen has a 72-hour emergency kit ready in case of war or other disasters. What are Queen Ursula and her shining knights from London and Paris up to now? Some experts are betting on boots on the ground in Western Ukraine and the ensuing cataclysm.

A story on euronews outlines Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s growing concern that the lunatics in London and Brussels are up to no good. Orbán was the first national leader to react to the EU Commission’s advice for people to prepare a 72-hour survival kit for emergencies. Hadja Lahbib, the European commissioner in charge of preparedness and crisis management, commented that European citizens must be  “Ready for anything – this must be our new European way of life.” The EU fearmongering is amping up now, as Lahbib and her boss, Ursula, are telling people to be ready to survive 72 hours in a crisis by stocking up on food and water, a flashlight, a power bank, a radio, cash and medications.

Maybe this explains why London, Brussels, and Berlin were so “all in” when the Euromaidan coup was afoot

EU Legalizes Spankings

All that’s missing from these kits seems to be the Russian language translation app for Europeans’ smartphones. Seriously, Hungary’s Orbán said the implications are horrifying. He says Europe is not threatened by any outside force, but he wonders if the elites are planning something they know will start a war. Orbán spoke over the radio, saying:

“Let’s try to understand why they are doing this. I see that Brussels is preparing for war. So this must be taken seriously.”

The EU is selling the move as a general precaution, while knowing the underlying psychological effect the plan will have on individuals, first, the talk of hundreds of billions in militarisation. Then, the news is that Britain and France seem ready for war with Russia. And the constant hammering that, somehow, Vladimir Putin wants to dominate the world. Meanwhile, the Germans are ready to “punish” the Hungarian leader. You read that correctly. Friedrich Merz’s incoming coalition wants to press the EU to consider withholding funds and suspending voting rights. Believe it or not, the wording coming out of the mouths of the EU’s leadership is asinine. In one report, the wording speaks of punishing “misbehaving countries.” Liberals everywhere should be up in arms over the suggestion that von der Leyen and Co. are considering spankings and other forms of punishment for wayward societies. I wonder if these political puppets ever consider that their corporal punishment of leaders, hurts EU citizens in the misbehaving states?

EU Subgroups – Who Runs Things?

Also of concern is the further development of the so-called Weimar Triangle of France, Germany and Poland. There is also a Weimar Plus group that adds Italy, Spain, and the UK to balance Europe’s strategic efforts without a blank U.S. check. President Donald Trump’s American reset is a big problem for London, Paris, and Berlin, so don’t be surprised to see a new “axis of evil” emerge from recent events. My question is, “What kind of confederation or collective union creates alliances within the overall alliance?”  We should all ponder this, especially those living in Eastern and Southern Europe.

Are these periphery countries simply pawns or a buffer zone between the “meaningful” European countries and Russia? Maybe this explains why London, Brussels, and Berlin were so “all in” when the Euromaidan coup was afoot. Any reaction by the Russians then was undoubtedly far distant from the banksters in their cozy capitals to the West. Geography: I’ll discuss all these crucial facets in another report. For now, I am with Viktor Orbán, wondering what these psychopaths are up to now. Perhaps they just need the kickbacks from the arms manufacturers. Just in case I am wrong, get your emergency kit ready.
