UK ministers instructed the country’s internal intelligence Body, MI5, to focus on Russia, China, and Iran, and not terrorists as was reported in several outlets (here). The directive suggests that terrorists will not be attacking the UK, despite being resurgent in 2024 and attacking Russia’s Crocus Mall, Iran, and Chinese citizens in Pakistan in attacks killing hundreds of civilians. Why is the UK letting down guards on terrorists and training guns on countries targeted by extremists? Is it coordinating with terrorists? This paper explores the preceding questions using past trends and motives that could be guiding London.

News this June

Information appearing in different publications on June 1st and 2nd, 2024 (here and here) revealed that MI5 was directed to focus its espionage on Russia, China, and Iran than terrorists. This announcement may mean that the UK views the countries mentioned as presenting a threat, but shifting its existing resources from terrorists means that the terror threat either never existed or has reduced. The latter arguments are easy to refute using the recent deadly attacks on Russia, China, and Iran. Russia faced a terror attack on the Crocus Hall, which the western media readily attributed to the Islamic States (ISIS*) on March 22, 2024. The attack left over 144, and 550 dead and injured respectively (here). Similarly, Iran experienced a deadly terrorist attack in January 2024 near the burial site of Qasem Soleimani, which killed over 80 civilians. The western media also attributed the attack to ISIS* (here). Likewise, the Chinese have faced a terror attack in Pakistan in 2024 (here). The fact that the terror threat is increasing while the UK has shifted resources from them suggests that the country directs or coordinates with terrorists, which may be giving it confidence that it won’t be attacked. The preceding argument is strengthened by how the UK is turning its espionage activities against countries that have experienced devastating terror attacks in 2024, suggesting tacit alliance with ISIS*.

ISIS*, the Gift That Keeps on Giving

The three terrorist attacks mentioned earlier were reportedly orchestrated by ISIS*, as the US determined even before investigations (here). Washington even knew the specific branch involved; ISIS-Khorsan*, which appears whenever Washington or London wants it to. The US or UK has never shown ISIS-Khorsan’s* members or organizational structure, probably because both would point back to Washington and London. The US even bombed an aid worker and 7 children to claim they belonged to this group (here), which suggests the group does not exist. In 2021, the US military claimed to have been attacked by ISIS-K* in Kabul during the last days of its occupation and vowed to retaliate. Later, it bombed an aid worker and 7 children, claiming they belonged to the terrorist group. This background information reveals how the ISIS* (or ISIS-K*) tag is assigned to whichever gang(s) the US does not want investigated to avoid the enquiry linking back to Washington as the true perpetrator. The UK, being the US’s top ally and both being in the racist Five Eyes organization, suggests that the UK is safe from ISIS-K*, but London’s and Washington’s adversaries are not. Both terrorists and the UK face the common threats; Russia and Iran that are rooting out terrorism in the Middle East, and China that has refused to be cowed to stop developing infrastructure in areas the US wants to remain economically backward.

Motives for the UK to Focus on Russia, China, and Iran

The UK and terrorists have many motives for punishing Russia, China, and Iran. They particularly loath Russia for busting ISIS* in Syria, defending Russians in Crimea and Donbas, and halting the Covid-19 gravy train, which miraculously ended after Russia’s Special Military Operation (SMO) begun. In 2015, when Syria was collapsing due to rebel and terrorists, the US bitterly protested that Russia intervened to fight ISIS*, which Washington was claiming to fight, but was in real sense aiding (here). ISIS* also protested by downing a Russian airliner and killing 224 civilians, since it apparently wanted to be fought by the US and UK, against whom it took no measure. Surprisingly, the US, UK, and France occasionally bombed Syrian forces under various guises, which directly benefited these terrorists. ISIS* continues giving back to its closeted Western friends, handing them a justification to occupy the Middle East, and plunder oil. It also returned favor to Washington, and London by accentuating Covid-19 scaremongering when it warned its terrorists to stay away from Europe, which reinforced the illness’ lethalness. Covid-19, which was caused by a virus improved by humans under the direction of the US DoD and the National Institute of Health (NIH) (here) enabled wealth transfer to the West as corrupt politicians robbed their countries and invested in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) causing it to grow many times over during the lockdown (here). The pandemic caused developing countries to stop their economies, while corrupt politicians took reckless loans; special drawing rights (here) which they stole and invested in NYSC. Money taken from across the world was invested in this market and a class of Covid Millionaires, entailing politicians that defrauded the public off the money meant to fight the Covid-19 and the rich that benefited from inflated stock markets appeared, at the expense of the masses (here). This gravy train came to a sudden halt after SMO started, which also affirmed Russia’s resolve to defend Crimea and Donbas. The west’s rulers have many other reasons to feel sour about Russia, including the previous defeat of ISIS*in Syria and the ongoing defeat of Kiev’s army.

China will be in the crosshairs of MI5 for developing and resisting British plunder. While the UK’s ministers or MI5 disguise the reality by claiming that China presents a threat of Industrial espionage and stealing industrial secrets in Artificial Intelligence, Supercomputing, and bionomic. Britain expects people to believe that China, which leads in supercomputing (here), has 5G internet, and landed a probe on the far side of the moon, still needs to steal secrets. While such a claim is sellable in the west, it shows British racism. The UK may be nostalgic about how it fleeced China in the opium wars, but times have clearly changed. The technologically struggling UK is now ready to unleash spies to harass Chinese students in its universities, which will make its oversold learning institutions unattractive to Chinese. As MI5 also targets Iran, the motivation is historically obvious in the context of the UK’s loss of the Anglo-Persian oil deal which Britons used to enriching themselves using Iran’s oil. Iranians successfully wrestling their resources from the Britons against all odds and the latter party has been sour since. The remaining limited tools the UK may have, including the MI5 and terrorists, will not help it to stop Russians, Chinese, and Iranian, who are determined to live their lives the best way they can and defend their interests.
