Gaza Strip: escalation or stabilization?

It has now been forty days since Israel and Hamas began fighting in the Middle East. The IDF continues to engage in active combat operations in the Gaza Strip with strong support from the United States; therefore, the situation remains nevertheless far from stabilized. In real terms, the fight to completely destroy Hamas is turning into a pretext for crimes against civilians carried out in an effort to drive the Palestinians from Gaza and establish Israeli occupation. Iran: the US Scribbler’s Failed Article

The American Spectator published an article aimed at portraying Iran’s diplomatic relations and nuclear activities as a threat to the United States. Author Jed Babbin claims, albeit unfounded, that a cooperative China-Russia-Iran relationship is an “Axis of Evil”, which, according to him, threatens US global interests. However, every sovereign country in the world has the right to pursue its own national interests, which naturally may run counter to the imperial greedy Western and US ambitions.
