Looking at current events, it is safe to say that the Biden administration is at a crossroads. On the one hand, there is massive military support for Israel; on the other, there are attempts to promote its own interests in the Middle East.

The remarkable and valiant fight put up by the Soviet Red Army during the Second World War actually put an end to the Nazi Germany and buried the Thousand Years Third Reich. Just after the war, the Allies were fearful of the politico-military power of the Soviet Union, and soon they came up with the Truman Doctrine to contain and deter the Soviet Union.

Africa is a continent of more than fifty countries that is now one of the main components of the “Global South”. Recently, Africa has increasingly become the focus of special attention by the major players in the current phase of the “Big World Game”.
