There’s an old proverb: “If you want to drown your dog, accuse it of rabies”. With its strategy of sabotaging the Chinese economy, the United States has taken the ruse a step further: accusing China of having rabies isn’t enough, you have to give it the disease.

Stop the presses. A Bloomberg story reverses course on the whole Ukraine affair. The business newspaper that told the world Russia was weak and sure to lose everything over military intervention in Ukraine now says Zelensky and the Ukrainians will be sold out.

What has happened so far in Gaza, and what is likely to happen next in the region, continues unabated with the settler movement in the West Bank. However, this is nothing, basically just a small change compared to what is starting in the Northern section of Gaza and what is obviously planned for Lebanon.
