Putin and Rahmon: Russia as a key partner and guarantor of Tajikistan's security
On 21 November, the leaders of Russia and Tajikistan – V. Putin and E. Rakhmon – met in Moscow. During the meeting, they assessed the thirty-year experience of relations between the two countries, counting from the date of signing an agreement on friendship, co-operation and mutual assistance between the two states in 1993. Results of the OTS summit - National leaders’ initiatives and new challenges
On November 3, 2023, the 10th anniversary summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) began in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The summit was attended by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Also attending the summit were representatives of the observer countries to the OTS, namely Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
ECO Summit Outcomes: Progress on Two Corridors of Continental Significance.
The signing of a protocol on the development of the international multimodal corridor Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey by the participants was one of the outcomes of the Ministerial Meeting on Transport of the member nations of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which took place on November 3 of this year in Tashkent.
