Scandals exposing the false policies of the Washington administration follow one after the other, clearly not adding to its credibility on foreign and domestic arenas.
We mean the numerous publications in the last few weeks in the media about the total wiretapping by U.S. intelligence agencies of all U.S. citizens and foreign leaders, camouflaged at the fight against terrorist manifestations of al-Qaeda. Although everyone remembers the previous close ties of Osama bin Laden with the American establishment and the role of the White House and Langley in the training and financing of his associates in their struggle with the Soviet Union on Afghan soil, at the end of the previous century.
We also mean the outright lie published by the White House on the implementation by President Obama of his campaign promises that he “will take all efforts to improve the well-being of Americans”. What is the end result? – Already more than 15% of population of the USA lives in poverty, constantly undernourished, and not even being able to sit down at the family table during Thanksgiving. At the same time, despite the protests of Congress, military spending and foreign interventions continue, costing billions of dollars. Unemployment among young people is rising, as a result of which, more than 54% of those aged 18 to 29 years, according to a poll conducted by Quinnipiac, condemned Washington’s policy.
In addition, the outright lies about imaginary external threats to America are becoming more popular. Thanks to these, Washington managed to start the intervention in Iraq and Libya, and later a military operation was prepared against Syria as well. Now, having proclaimed a “turn to Asia”, the White House is building a new policy in the Asian Region, scaring the public with false statements of the “Chinese Threat” in order to get extra billions of dollars for new military programmes and the enrichment of Washington hawks. This fooling of the Americans and the international community is performed by representatives of almost all branches of the U.S. government.
Were the allegations of the US State Secretary Powell, addressed from the UN tribune before the U.S. invasion of Iraq true, when he was waving some test tube with mysterious contents as being evidence of Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction?
And recent “evidence” of another State Secretary, John Kerry, on the alleged use of chemical weapons by Assad in Syria and the creation on this lie of a coalition of outside forces for armed intervention in the SAR?
By the way, concerning the latter fact, the American side was given concrete evidence of the groundlessness of these false declarations, submitted by a UN certified laboratory. However, the White House did not care to take this into account!
Just recently, new evidence of forgery by the U.S. administration in this matter emerged. Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist Seymour Myron (Sy) Hersh published his own investigation “Whose Sarin”, demonstrating that the U.S. government and President Barack Obama personally deliberately lied when they claimed that the Syrian government had used sarin poison gas last August. As evidence, Hersh was using information he had received from sources in the U.S. intelligence community and the Pentagon. This evidence confirmed that both the White House statements and fraudulent propaganda unwound by it in the media, pursued the main goal – to create a pretext for armed intervention in Syria and replace the management of SAR with their henchmen, and thus take full control of the country. In his investigation, Hersh reveals in detail, how Washington and its allies were planning to carry out a provocation with sarin through jihadi of the Al-Nusra Front, and then to attack Syria. This was following the example of how White House acted in North Vietnam, as a result of the fraudulent incident in the Gulf of Tonkin in 1964, created by the Johnson Administration.
Special attention in Hersh’s investigation is paid to the criminal role of such American newspapers as the Washington Post and New York Times in “support” of the false policies of Washington in August of this year, which obligingly began to carry out instructions of the White House “on delivering argumentations and supporting action against the Assad government”.
It is significant that the U.S. media, strictly claiming to follow the principle of “protecting American democracy”, diligently seek to ignore Hersh’s investigation. Moreover, a number of them, and in particular the Washington Post, refused to publish materials that Hersh gave them, thus confirming that only the official lies of the White House have the right to exist in such publications.
In the coming days, President Obama will officially make his Christmas speech. Without a doubt, in his address to the American people and foreign nationals, he will speak about democratic values, human rights, and the fight against terrorism. However, the number of those who listen to the head of the White House is getting smaller every day, because people want to know the truth and they are tired of insincere and false rhetoric.
