Sergey Lavrov’s new African tour and the strengthening of the Africa-Russia Axis

Sergey Lavrov in African tour

The head of Russian diplomacy Sergey Lavrov is once again on the African continent as part of an official tour. At a time when for Russia, as for many African countries, this tour is associated with the highest level of relations between Moscow with its allies and partners on the continent, the Western minority regimes continue to watch the development of things with an extreme discontent.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is currently on official tour in Africa. He has already visited the Republic of Guinea, where he was received by the head of Guinean diplomacy Morissanda Kouyaté, as well as by the head of State, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya.  It should be remembered that Sergey Lavrov’s previous visit to Guinea dates back to February 2013.

After Guinea, the head of Russian diplomacy visited the Republic of the Congo, where he was welcomed by his counterpart, the Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Claude Gakosso, by the way – graduated from Leningrad State University. During this tour, visits to Chad and Burkina Faso are also planned.

Jealousy of the West

From the prospects point of view – while there is no doubt that all the meetings have had and will have strategic importance for bilateral and multilateral relations between Russia and African countries, it is obviously particularly interesting to observe the reaction of Western propaganda instruments. Because there is no longer any question of ridiculous Western rhetoric about the pseudo-isolation of our country, but on the contrary, these propagandist tools, with undisguised stress and jealousy, write almost in unison that all this is happening at a time when Russia continues to strengthen its positions in Africa.

This is not surprising. Until recently, the Western planetary minority was convinced that no one will be able to roll back its openly neocolonial agenda on the African continent. The active strengthening of relations between China and African nations, especially starting from the 2000s, obviously made Western elements nervous, but the planetary minority nevertheless remained convinced that it would be able, if not to completely oust, to at least considerably limit the positions of the Chinese state in Africa.

This was not successful – China continued to strategically strengthen relations with its African allies and partners. And with the real return of Russia on the continent – this has definitively shattered all the plans of the planetary minority represented by Western regimes. Especially at a time when the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China have confirmed the path of complementarity and global strategic interaction.

Africa and the multipolar world

Today, there is no doubt that relations between a large part of the African continent – with both Russia and China – will continue to actively develop and strengthen. The schemes of pure Western scam aimed of instilling in a continent as rich as Africa the idea that it can do nothing on its own and can only supposedly count on a “partnership” with the West – completely collapse. And this even in countries where until recently, Westerners felt like they were the “masters”. This taking into account the fact that the liberation process continues and that Western regimes cannot and will not be able to slow it down.

The African continent has a strategic role to play within the framework of the multipolar world order. All that remains is to be additionally patient and to continue together strengthening the architecture of the common world order – already multipolar and in the future post-Western as well. All based on common interests, mutual respect and a clear understanding of the processes observed today in the contemporary world.

The Africa-Russia Axis

At the current stage, the Africa-Russia Axis has already been created, based on the allied relations between many states of the African continent and our country. Other nations are joining this axis, either already being strategic partners of Russia, or with whom the process is only gaining momentum. What is also very interesting is that all attempts by the enemies of Russian-African relations and the multipolar world to interfere in the said processes give a completely opposite result for the instigators of these attempts – hitting Western interests and their agents even more, only further strengthening the process of ousting neocolonial forces from the African continent.

In other words, Westerners are crowding out themselves. Via their arrogant and condescending actions and statements. To this end, there is only one conclusion to draw: we must not bother them in this way. As for the Africa-Russia Axis, it constitutes precisely one of the fundamental forces of the multipolar world, and where Africa is called not to have an observer role, but indeed to be one of the humanity key forces.
