Ukraine – The Wild Fields of the 21st Century

Konrad Stachnio, October 17

24078256The rebel militia from Donbass discovered mass graves of civilians that had been tortured by the National Guard of Ukraine. Corpses covered with soil were found by sappers who were clearing the reclaimed territories of mines. Victims with their bodies covered with signs of torture had their hands tied behind them were apparently shot in the back of the head. The cases of 9 mm caliber bullets were found near the bodies.

Most of the massacred civilians were women, some were found with body organs removed. According to experts the internal organs of young women are highly valuable on the black market because women generally do not perform activities as hazardous as men and so their organs are more suitable for transplantation. One of the women was most likely pregnant.

Unearthed corpses confirm that torture was used against them: victims had limbs removed, various characters, including Nazi symbols, were burnt on the bodies. Two of the heads were completely severed. All the victims were dressed in civilian clothes. At the entrance to the nearby village a ditch was found containing several people. Residents claim that members of the National Guard executed people for their alleged contacts with the resistance movement. So far, three graves have been located and the rebels are confident that they will find more. OSCE observers confirm these claims.

The rebels did not have any doubts that girls were raped and murdered in the camp at the mine. ‘People said girls were disappearing’ – says one of the insurgents who found corpses. Currently, the fate of some of the residents is unknown. There is a high probability that there are still a lot of mass graves in the area.

‘The mine was a base for torturers, Nazis and all sorts of different mercenaries. Here they were quartered and conducted artillery fire on the next village. Leaving the mine, they set up many booby-traps in order to hit Donbass industry “, says one of the commanders who found corpses.

One should note that the Geneva Agreement of April 17, 2014 contained a commitment to Ukraine’s non-aggression in Donbass areas. The finding of mass graves was confirmed by the OSCE mission. Its observers assumed that the killings occurred on August 27, since they found a plate near one of the graves discovered at the “Kommunarskaja”mine.

“About forty bodies of civilians already found in three graves in Donetsk. Further burials have been located, but the exact number of mass graves is still undetermined. The graves contain civilian inhabitants, prisoners of war, and insurgents” – said Zacharczenko.

This was not the first massacre in Ukraine. On May 2, 2014 in Odessa, nationalists drove a crowd of opponents to the violent regime change in Ukraine to the House of Trade Unions. 48 people were burnt alive and more than 200 people were injured.

Reports on the crimes committed by Nazi battalions in Ukraine have litte effect on them, since most of them are affiliated with the The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It is hard to believe that the Interior Ministry did not recognize what these battalions were up to. The commander of the battalion Azov is Andriy Biłećkyj, who heads the National-Socialist ‘Association (Social-Natsionalna Asambleja). He is also a lieutenant colonel in the Ukrainian militia (a promotion approved by Poroshenka on August 15, 2014). So as you can see, neo-nazis have full legitimacy in Ukraine.

w86cv88m68Battalion Azov members wear T-shirts with the abbreviation 88 which means “Heil Hitler” as the letter H is the eighth letter of the alphabet and the words Heil Hitler begin with H. On the flag the word “Totenkopf” can be seen, which was worn on the caps of the SS. Additionally they are wearing “Fourteen” Tiwaz runes with elhaz and SS-like “Totenkopf”. “Fourteen” (with English. Fourteen words) is often used by neo-Nazis and white supremacists, meaning: We guarantee the existence of our people and a future for White children. On the Azov strip we see a Nazi Wolfsangel, but also the SS-like occult sign of the “Black Sun” (“Schwarze Sonne”), which appears on the floor of the Hall of generals in the castle Wewelsburg (North Rhine-Westphalia).

According to Arsen Awakow, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, “For special merits for the country” battalion “Azov” was raised to the rank of regiment. Furthermore, it seems that we are now dealing in Ukraine with “war tourists” on some kind of ‘safari’ on which they hunt people:

According to a captured fighter from the punitive neo-Nazi battalion “Azov”, EU citizens are fighting on the side of Ukrainian troops as “war tourists”. The foreigners, usually right wing extremists, participate in a kind of “safari” on which they can hunt people.

This phenomenon was first Observed in the Yugoslavian civil war when European right wingers, so called “weekend warriors”, were “hunting Serbs” together with Croatian forces. According to a POW, he saw several Swedish people, a Frenchman and two Georgians who came in August for two weeks. They took part in a shooting in an attack group. Mostly they operate as snipers and shoot from a long distance. They even film themselves shooting and then upload the videos to the internet since this is a leisure interest for them. According to the POW, Azov and Lyashko Kolomoysky sponsors are fully aware of foreigners taking part in punitive action.

Amnesty International has released a report detailing human rights violations by neoNazi brigades which form part of the Ukrainian military.  The report was released Sept. 8 and is titled, “Ukraine: abuses and war crimes by the Aidar volunteer battalion in the north Lugansk region”.

“Members of the Aidar territorial defense battalion, operating in the north Luhansk [Lugansk] region, have been involved in widespread abuses, including abductions, unlawful detention, ill-treatment, theft, extortion, and possible executions.”

In an interview I had with Mateusz Piskorski, founder of the European Centre for Geopolitical Analysis, he stated;

“We will have to deal with a situation similar to that in Somalia, where after the American intervention in 1992 till today, after 22 years we are dealing with a hole on the map of Africa. If nobody would do anything wild fields will be in Ukraine for many years. Consequently, we have to deal with hundreds of thousands of refugees from the Ukraine. From the point of view of the capitalist system, they constitute cheap labor.”

“We’re dealing with wild fields of the 21st century, a situation in which individual battalions take action fully independently without consultation with any central governing bodies. We are dealing with small groups of the extreme right Banderovite, which forms its battalions so that they listen only to someone to Kolomoyskyi and other oligarchs who pay for the battalions and have financed them from the very beginning. They have nothing in common with the central authorities.”

A recent preliminary OSCE report says that in Nizina Krynka around Donetsk three mass graves have been located. Excavated human remains suggest about 400 victims, with 350 of these found being from the surrounding areas. The state of bodies indicates that the victims were subjected to extremely cruel torture; women were raped. The mass graves also contained 12 to 14 year-old girls who had been brutally raped and the bodies of children who are below 10 years of age. These people were murdered in areas where Ukrainian troops were stationed.

And it seems that people from Eastern Ukraine are not the only ones who are afraid of the “skull and bones” battalions.

“When they stop killing Russians they will go for Poles”, said a Pole living in Ukraine.

Robert Parregy of the Washington Times in his article called Nazi battalion Azov freedom – loving militia, ‘Romatik’ battle scarred patriots. With that, I am convinced that the Brown Shirts and Hitler himself were also ‘romantics’. They wanted freedom for the German fighting for the only ‘right’ cause, as Ajdar and Azov do now. History repeats itself. However, I think that truth lies in the opposite statement. I think that people like to repeat history. And again as in Orwell’s 1984, ‘ignorance is strength’. An example of this is the Ukraine where private non-retrofitted battalions of volunteers who are answerable to no one are fighting under Nazi symbols, and no one seems to notice no wrong, and even when they do, they label those Nazis ‘romantics’. In his official speech when he invaded Poland, Hitler spoke about German ‘peacekeeping’ troops going to Poland. When I hear ‘peacekeepers’ I associate this only with the NATO. So now we have to deal with the forces of ’pro-democratic’ counter-terrorism etc. that use the same ideology of genocide as did Himmler, Hitler and the SS. The deceased right-wing leader Alexander Muzichko clearly stated his life credo: fight the communists, Jews and Russians till death.

The main cause of the delegitimization of power in eastern and southern Ukraine was the announcement of the liquidation of linguistic equality for non- Ukrainian speaking minorities. It is in these areas where the Russian-speaking population constitutes the majority. As for the Crimean referendum to join the Russian Federation, it was just a mere reaction to the threats that the Yatsenyuk government had created for the citizens of Crimea. Who needs more similarities with the policies of Hitler in Germany before 1939?

Nazism was not created in Germany in just a year, instead it had been funded by a number of influential groups for a number of years, while the public opinion allowed this wrongdoing. I think most of us know how well it all ended for millions of people. Mass graves in Ukraine is just an example. Maybe when the neo-Nazis fail the USA will order the bombing of Ukraine as now in Syria, due to the successive ‘terrorists’ and the need to overthrow the ‘wrong’ Assad. I have the impression that this conflict will not be allowed to be terminated. All the time we hear about increasing numbers of fighting troops who are not answerable to Kyiv. The United States continues its military and financial support of the Ukrainian armed forces.

An example of this could be found in the testimony of Paul Gubariew, who was a member of the “Russian National Unity” organization and the then councilor of the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine. He proclaimed himself the “people’s governor” of Donbass.

We are fighting not only against the Ukrainian security forces because they are inscribed in the structure of the CIA. They provide the data captured by the Echelon system. In damaged tanks we found the body of Blacks people who are American citizens. At the airport in Donetsk are American mercenaries. We fight not only with the Ukrainian army, but with tremendous force. World power. Global evil.

However now it is no longer even a ‘business venture’ which is becoming the wild fields of the 21st century. If nothing is done then ordinary, good-spirited innocent people will become victims of ‘romantic ‘battalions’ of the war with the Russians, Muslims, Jews and Christians, since the  Ukrainian nationalists believe that they must cleanse their territory from ‘foreigners’.

Despite attempts of subsequent suppression by neo-Nazis people from the eastern cities want liberation. A front is moving west towards the last bastion of neo-Nazis in Kyiv and Lwow. None control the situation.

The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia, but to keep the very structure of society intact. George Orwell.
