“…if you want peace, you will come to us!”

I am most interested in the ending: When Putin said that “…if you want peace, you will come to us!”  These drives home the message that this conflict, on the part of the West, in spite of the histories as proffered by each side, the Ukraine catastrophe was a planned effort by the West…

The basis of the US-led liberal world order was laid at the end of the World War 2. However, the United States and the Soviet Union kept on fighting over the spread and influence of their respective ideologies till the 1990s. The United States’ victory in the Cold War established its hegemony over the globe. Many Western philosophers, at that time, believed that the US-led liberal world order was here to stay. Famous American political philosopher, Francis Fukuyama, in his book “The End of History and the Last Man,” also endorsed this notion…

Most Westerners imagine Russian President Vladimir Putin sitting in his office in the Kremlin, wringing his hands and gritting his teeth, pondering Russia’s imminent conquest of all of Europe. The dominance of the US dollar in the global economy continues to wane quietly but relentlessly as many countries actively seek other currencies. First and foremost, they are the BRICS nations of Russia, China, India, Brazil, and South Africa. Although it appeared to be only a few countries, the total population is over 3.23 billion, accounting for more than 40% of the world’s population.  Between 2000 and 2026, the BRICS population is expected to grow by 625 million people, most of them in India and China.  By 2020, the BRICS countries’ total GDP was 25% of the global (21 trillion dollars), and their share in international trade was about 20% (6.7 trillion dollars)…

America At War

The United States of America is at war with Russia. There is not much point in using terms such as “proxy war” to describe the situation. If a belligerent in a war is acting as a proxy for another power and that power is not engaged directly in the war, the term can be useful. But when the power, for which the “proxy” engages in the war, is directly involved in the war itself, then it is a co-belligerent, a party to the war directly, not simply by proxy. The issue is whether each state is pursuing its own interests and has its own independent means of doing so, or whether the interests and forces of the allied powers are subordinate to the interests and forces of a leader…

The closer the possible meeting between Putin and Biden gets, the more hype around it arises, sometimes turning into  . Especially, of course, in recent days, Western observers and politicians have become sophisticated, adopting the tactics of the “Soviets” from the collapsed Soviet Union (USSR.
