Many global media outlets have published reports about an imminent invasion of Lebanon by Israel. Several Western governments have advised their citizens to leave Lebanon. Bild, Germany’s largest daily newspaper, citing diplomatic and military sources in the Middle East, has published an article claiming that Israel may embark on a large-scale military invasion of southern Lebanon towards the end of July.

The horrific destruction of Palestinians in Gaza by brutal IDF soldiers is in its ninth month. During this time, the Israelis have committed all imaginable and unimaginable crimes of a military nature, against humanity and against the financial and economic situation of the Palestinians. If the current government – and Netanyahu himself – persist in their harsh tactics in Gaza, Israel’s security crisis could become irreparable, raising critical questions about the future existence of the state.

Israel’s war in Gaza has led to a virtual genocide of the Palestinian people: the number of dead and wounded has long since exceeded 100,000, many of the inhabitants of the enclave are suffering from hunger, and there is a glaring lack of medical services. But the Israeli authorities have not been able to eliminate Hamas, and their military actions have led more and more young Palestinians to seek revenge for the terrible suffering of their relatives.

Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant demagogically and falsely declared during a visit to Washington that his country does not want war in Lebanon, but at the same time is prepared to inflict “enormous damage” on Hezbollah if diplomacy fails. “We don’t want war, but we are preparing for every scenario,”

One does not have to dig deep, or have deeply placed sources in the intelligence community, to know what desperate steps will come next in the debacle over Hamas versus Israel, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, turn now to Hezbollah, Northern Israel, and how the US must live up to its obligations in protecting its most trusted ally in the region – the “fledgling” State of Israel …  And if you believe that – I suspect that you would like to swallow all what is going on in the World today hook, line and sinker as making the world Safe for Democracy and the American Way.
